HCM: Q3/2012 Net Profit Falls 23% but 9M/2012 Rises 43%

The HOSE-listed company generated net revenue of VND114 billion in the quarter, descending 20% from a year back while its revenue increased 30% on year to VND446.8 billion in the first nine months of the year.

In revenue structure of Q3/2012, brokerage revenue reached VND28.6 billion, up 10% on year. Meanwhile, other incomes reached VND80.9 billion in which VND42 billion came from margin lending activity.

In 9M/2012, the securities broker earned VND118 billion brokerage revenue, up 69% on-year, and VND290.5 billion other revenues, rising 23% from a year ago.

As at September 30, 2012, outstanding margin loans reached VND602 billion, cash and cash equivalents valued at VND1.59 trillion including VND392 billion of investors.

At 09:18 AM on October 17, HCM was being traded flat at VND18,600/share with 2,120 units traded.
