VSI: Net profit Soars 267% y/y to VND3Bln

 VSI attributed its higher profit to higher sales and lower expenses in the period.

The company generated consolidated net sales of VND97.7 billion in the third three-month period, compared to VND93.3 billion a year earlier.

In 9M/2014, the HOSE-listed firm made a consolidated net profit of VND6.2 billion on revenue of VND226.8 billion, versus VND2.2 billion and VND197.6 billion a year back, respectively.

The firm had consolidated total assets of VND758.1 billion at the end of the third quarter, versus VND785.1 billion at the beginning of this year, according to the balance sheet.
