VietinBank Inks Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement with LotteMart

According to the agreement, VietinBank will provide banking and financial services to LotteMart system nationwide at present and in the future, including card issuance and payment acceptance at LotteMart system; modern banking services. The lender will coordinate to implement marketing programs; strengthen strategic cooperation to expand LotteMart network in Vietnam, etc.

This comprehensive partnership also brings VietinBank the opportunity to offer customers more utility and different added values.

Speaking at the ceremony, CEO of LotteMart Pyong Gyu Hong said every day there were about 5,000 to 10,000 customers shopping at Lotte and the majority did not use cards. This is an opportunity for VietinBank and Lotte to promote strengths to enhance customer services, Hong added.

To date, VietinBank has issued nearly 10 million E-Partner debit cards, more than 400,000 International Cemium credit cards and over 20,000 card-accepting units nationwide. Currently VietinBank is working with various suppliers and partners domestically and globally to offer customers modern payment services to meet their needs.
