VCF: Q2/2012 Net Profit Rises 17.84% Y-o-Y

Vinacafé Bien Hoa JSC. (VCF) said its net profit rose 17.84% on year to VND billion in Q2/2012, the firm said in its financial statements posted on the HOSE’s website.

VCF attributed its net profit rise to an increase in sales of cereal goods.

The company generated net revenue of VND444.63 billion in the second quarter of the year, up 48.5% from VND299.37 billion a year ago, according to the firm’s income statement.

In H1/2012, the company earned VND103.55 billion net profit on VND837 billion net revenue, compared to VND122.53 billion and VND721.8 billion one year before, respectively.

The HOSE listed firm had total assets of VND925.7 billion at the end of Q2/2012 versus VND818.1 billion at the beginning of the year, according to its balance sheet.
