More than 300,000 shops and millions of customers on the ecommerce platform will benefit directly from the domestic goods transportation and delivery services of DHL eCommerce Vietnam.
In addition, the two sides will work together to operate more than 300 Sen Do-DHL drop-off points, aimed at supporting shop owners and online sellers.
Tran Hai Linh, general director of Sen Do Technology JSC, said his firm was striving to raise the ecommerce business rate within Vietnam’s total retail sales volume, as well as catch up with regional economies, such as Indonesia, that are witnessing strong growth in the ecommerce space.
Thomas Harris, managing director of DHL eCommerce Vietnam, commented that household businesses and small and medium-sized enterprises play a crucial role in Vietnam, comprising 98% of the total number of businesses and contributing some 40% of gross domestic product, creating as much as 50% of employment in the country.
He added that DHL was ready to support these businesses and will work with Sen Do to bring about true benefits to local sellers in the form of high-quality domestic goods transport and a reliable distribution network.
