SEC: Net Profit Falls 40% to VND27Bln in Q1/2012

The company attributed its lower profit to an 18.2% on year increase in the costs of goods sold-to-revenue ratio, a 30% on year rise in the financial expenses-to-financial income ratio, and a 11.93% on year fall in sugar selling prices in the period.

The HOSE-listed company generated net revenue of VND226.6 billion in the quarter, compared to VND173.1 billion a year earlier.

The company had total assets of VND637.5 billion at the end of the quarter, against VND613.8 billion at the beginning of the year.
