Reference exchange rate up 5 VND on Feb 21, 2020

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,239 VND per USD on February 21, up 5 VND from the previous day.

 With the current trading band of /-3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,936 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,543 VND/USD.

 The opening hour rates at most commercial banks were stable.

 At 8:20 am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 23,140 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,310 VND/USD, unchanged from February 20.

 BIDV also kept both rates unchanged, at 23,170 VND/USD (buying) and 23,310 VND/USD (selling).

 Meanwhile, Techcombank increased both rates by 9 VND, listing the buying rate at 23,152 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,312 VND/USD./.
