NOV 3: UPCoM-Index Closes Up Following Primary Bourse

The index gained 0.05 point or 0.16%, to close at 30.45. The gauge started with the given mark of 100 on June 24, 2009 but it has never been back to that level.

The market volume fell today with 164,600 shares changed hands for VND1.03 billion, compared with 305,960 shares changed hands for VND1.41 billion yesterday.

The market breadth was positive with 16 gainers, 14 losers, 9 unmoved and the rest untraded.

GDW was the biggest gainer, adding VND1,200 to hit the ceiling at VND13,600 with 2,500 shares traded.

SDI was the biggest loser, falling VND8,600 to finish at VND30,000 on a trade of 5,000 units.
