· Vietnam’s November CPI Is Forecasted at 0.36%: NDH Money
The local news provider NDH Money forecasted Vietnam’s November CPI at 0.36%, the same increasing level as October’s.

· Vietnam Credit Growth +0.05%, Deposit -0.74% in October, 2011
Total outstanding loans of the whole banking system as of Oct 20 were estimated to rise by 0.05% on-month and up 8.61% from end-2010 while total deposits fell 0.74% on-month, yet rising by 8.59% YoY.

· S&P Downgrade Rocks Local Banking Industry
Standard & Poor’s downgrade of Vietnam’s banking industry last week has received sideways glances from leading economists in the country.

· Vietnam Central Bank to Disclose Bank Bad Debts
The State Bank of Vietnam recently issued Circular No. 35, providing guidance to release information on banking activities, including bad debts ratio of the entire banking sector.

Net Assets Value (NAV) of VEIL, one of the four funds managed by Dragon Capital, decreased 1.33% on month to $376.99 million as at October 27 compared to $382.13 million as at September 29.

· Vietnam SSC Likely to Name Investors Violating Multiple-Accounting Trading Regulation
It is reported that over 1,000 turns of investors have violated multiple account trading regulation since the introduction of Circular 74 three months ago, the State Securities Commission’s data showed.

· Tan Viet Securities Announces 198 Marginable Stocks
Tan Viet Securities Incorporated (TVSI) released the list of 198 marginable support stocks of which 122 stocks were listed on HSX and the other 76 on HNX.

Kim Long Securities JSC (KLS) released the list of 74 marginable support stocks of which 50 stocks were listed on HSX and the other 24 on HNX.
