Notice: Some critical changes of Margin service since 01 February 2013

Dear Our Valued Customers,

Firstly, KIS would like to thank you for your kind support and companion with KIS. According to the regulation of margin service issued by State Securities Commission of Vietnam (SSC), KIS has conducted system upgrade of Margin service to meet SSC requirements which leads to some critical changes as following:

1. Margin ratios:

– Minimum Margin Ratio (MMR)   : 50%

– Last-call Margin Ratio (LMR)      : 40 %

– Forced-sell Margin Ratio (FMR) : 30 %

2. Margin interest: 16.2% per year or 0.045% per day

3. Margin stock list: please kindly check the updated file (HSX  HNX)

4. Requirement to open the Margin Account:

According to SSC Decision No. 09/QĐ-UBCK dated 08 January 2013, SSC has decided to cancel the required minimum money to open and maintain the margin account (10,000,000 vnd) since 01 February 2013.
