Notice: Changes of Trading Account Format since 20 February 2012

Dear Valued Customers,

First of all, KIS would like to thank you for your kind support and companion with KIS. According to the regulation of margin service issued by State Securities Commission of Vietnam (SSC), KIS has conducted system upgrade of Margin service to meet SSC requirements which leads to some changes of Trading Account Format as following:

1.   Customers DO NOT use Margin Service at KIS:

–       Old Trading Account Format:  057Cxxxxxx

–       New Trading Account Format: 057Cxxxxxx – 00

For example: The trading account will be changed from 057C123456 to 057C123456 – 00

This change does not affect your trading at KIS.

2.   Customers USE Margin Service at KIS:

Customers using margin service will automatically have two trading accounts:

–       Main account: formatted: 057Cxxxxx-00

–       Sub account: provided for margin service only and formatted: 057Cxxxxxx-01

For example: Ms. Nguyen using margin service has two accounts: 057C000001-00 and 057C000001-01

Note:

–       Money and stocks in these two accounts can be transferred from Main to Sub and from Sub to Main with the condition that Current Margin Ratio (CMR) is in safe ratio.

–       Orders in these two accounts are not related.
