Bao Viet Securities Companies (BVSC) forecast Vietnam’s consumer price index (CPI) in May to accelerate to 0.3% at most, the local news provider Gafin reported.
- Vietnam’s May CPI to Ease By 0.24% Due to Petroleum Price Fall
Vietnam’s May CPI is predicted to ease by 0.24% due to fall in petroleum prices which were adjusted down from May 9th, 2012, Nguyen Tien Thoa, the director general of Price Management Agency under the Ministry of Finance said.
- TEXT-Fitch Affirms Vietnam at ’B+’; Outlook Stable
Fitch Ratings has affirmed Vietnam’s Foreign- and Local-Currency Issuer Default Ratings at ‘B+’. The Outlook for both Ratings is Stable. The Country Ceiling is also affirmed at ‘B+’, and the Short-Term Foreign Currency IDR at ‘B’.
- 63% Vietnam Firms Cannot Access Bank Credits – Survey
63% local businesses in a recent survey conducted by the National Finance Supervision Committee (NFSC) said that they could hardly access bank loans in the first quarter of this year, the local online newspaper Tri Thuc Tre (TTVN) reported.
