March 14: Foreigners Boost Buying in HOSE, Focusing on STB, Sell on HNX

These players net bought VND17263 billion on the HOSE after buying 14,013,530 shares for VND381.7 billion and selling  6,659,410 units for VND209.07 billion, accounting for 38.69% buying value and 21.19% selling value.

This is the highest net buying level in 7 weeks and in percentage of participation, it is multi-month high.

Foreigners’ top buying shares were STB (VND91.17 billion), MBB (VND17.79 billion), VCB (VND13.59 billion), HAG (VND12.56 billion) and DPM (VND11.68 billion).

Of note, foreigners’ appetite for banking shares rose again which helped boost the local market.

Foreigners’ other top selling shares were GMD(VND5.5 billion), ITA (VND4.89 billion), KBC(VND3.43 billion), PPC(VND3 billion) and PVD (VND2.47 billion).

On the Hanoi Stock Exchange, foreigners net sold VND7.3 billion worth of shares after buying 1,280,400 shares for VND17.11billion and selling 2,131,100 units for VND24.41 billion, accounting for 2.9% buying value and 4.14% selling value.

They actively bought PGS, VND,DBC, SHB and VCS shares while they actively offloaded VCG, PVX, PVS, KLS and TCS shares
