The market volume edged up to 260,560 shares changed hands for VND1.55 billion, compared with 216,807 shares traded for VND0.74 billion as investors stayed cautious.

SDK was the biggest gainer for the second day, adding VND1,100 to hit the ceiling at VND12,600 with 5,000 shares traded.
HIG was the biggest loser, falling VND600 to close at VND8,500 on trade of 2,900 units.
