The index ended at 36.31. The market volume totaled 345,550 shares valued at VND2.02 billion, compared with 257,000 shares valued at VND1.5 billion from a day earlier

Market breadth was negative as 9 rallied, 10 tumbled, and 8 closed unmoved and the rest untraded.

BTW was the biggest gainer, climbing VND1000 to finish at VND11,900 on a common trade of 10,000 shares.

ADP was the biggest loser, erasing VND1,200 to close at VND11,100 on a trade of 100 units.

PMT was the most active stock on the gauge with 99,700 shares changed hands, which closed at the floor of VND6,100.

Foreigners stayed on the sidelines today.
