The index ended at 36.33 and the market volume was 254,075 shares valued at VND1.1 billion versus 231,405 shares valued at VND1.34 billion in the previous trading session.

Market breadth was positive where 14 rallied, 13 tumbled, and 6 closed unmoved, the rest untraded.

HPP was the biggest gainer, climbing VND1,000 to finish at VND15,000 on a common trade of 500 shares.

BVN was the biggest loser, erasing VND1,100  to close at VND10,600 on a trade of 100 units.

MDF was the most active stock on the gauge with 95,000 shares changed hands.

Foreigners bought 7000 BTW shares today.
