Jun 1: UPCoM-Index Slides on Thin Trade Extending Week Loss

The index dipped 0.28 points, or 0.77%, to end at 36.02. The gauge dropped 1.3% this week. The market volume totaled 232,000 shares valued at VND1.49 billion, compared with 304,000 shares and VND1.56 billion a day earlier.

Market breath was negative, 12 rallied, 23 tumbled, and 96 closed unmoved. Up to 88 stocks closed untraded.

MAS was the biggest gainer, climbing 39% to finish at VND7,100 on a common trade of 100 shares.

MEF was the biggest loser, erasing 38% to close at VND3,700 on a trade of 10,000 units.

FBA was the most active stock on the gauge with 58,000 shares changed hands, which closed down 5.6% at VND3,400.

Foreigners traded only VTA shares today.
