We would like to inform an important change regarding Indirect Investment Accounts for foreign investors, effective from June 16, 2025, as announced by Shinhan Bank Vietnam.
To conduct indirect investment transactions in Vietnam, the type of account used (Indirect Investment Account (IICA) or Demand Deposit Account (DDA) in VND) will be determined based on your residency status.
If your residency status changes from non-resident to resident, please inform KIS to update your beneficiary account to a Demand Deposit Account (DDA) in VND.

* A foreign resident is defined as a foreigner permitted to reside in Vietnam for 12 months or more.
