Vietnamese stocks bounced back today, ending the 7 day losing string as bargain hunters picked up beaten down shares on attractive valuation.

The UPCoM-Index, the measure of 127 unlisted public companies, closed up Wednesday following the official bourses.

Vietnam was estimated to incur a trade deficit of $0.75 billion in October, down 50% on-month, down 33% on year, the General Department of Vietnam Customs said.

Vietnam stocks ended mixed today as investors continued to sell shares on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange, sending the index down for a seventh straight day, to a three-month low, while bargain hunters buoyed the northern bourses from all-time low.

The UPCoM-Index, the measure of 127 unlisted public companies, closed down today following the primary bourse HOSE.

Foreigners remained to be net buyers on both HOSE and HNX bourses today, level of participation slightly fell.

The local news provider NDH Money forecasted Vietnam’s November CPI at 0.36%, the same increasing level as October’s.
