Vietnam plans to run only one national stock exchange which is scheduled to establish in Q2/2012 under the proposal of restructuring local stock market.

The UPCoM-Index, the measure of 127 unlisted public companies closed up on Wednesday following the official bourses . Liquidity improved.

State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC) generated a revenue of of VND254 billion in 2011, meeting 45% of the year target and fall 30% from 2010, the Dau Tu Chung Khoan reported, citing SCIC’s data.

The Ministry of Finance (MoF) efforts to increase budget collection and cut expenditures to reduce budget deficit to below 4.8% in 2012, the Minister Vuong Dinh Hue said.

Foreigners were net buyers on both HOSE and HNX on Tuesday. Level of participation rose continuously.
