The local market skyrocketed in the first extended session on Monday as almost all investors jumped into the buying side, sending the VN Index up by a hefty 17.61 points, or 4.01%, against the previous session at 457.21, the highest in 5 months.

The UPCoM-Index, the measure of 130 unlisted public companies closed down on Thursdsay following the official bourses. Liquidity eased.
