Vietnamese stocks kicked off new week in the green as investors continued to buy shares with support from earnings release, liquidity stayed high.

Bao Viet Securities Companies (BVSC) forecast Vietnam’s consumer price index (CPI) in April to accelerate to 0.5-0.7%, the local VPBanks Securities company reported in its website today.

Vietnamese stocks extended gain this morning as investors continued to see stocks as most profitable investment channel this year, liquidity continued to rise.

The UPCoM-Index, the measure of 130 unlisted public companies closed down following the official bourse on Friday. Liquidity improved.

Vietnamese stocks ended down today as investors took profit after recent rally, however, buying energy was still solid on hope of a sustainable rally, pushing the liquidity higher.

Foreigners were net buyers on both HOSE and HNX on Friday. Level of participation significantly increased.
