Vietnamese stocks fell by midday on Tursday, with positive news on inflation and a fuel price cut failing to revive buying interest, a broker and an analyst said on Thursday.

Foreigners changed to be net sellers on primary bourse HOSE and continued to be net buyers on HNX on Thursday. Level of participation edged up.

Vietnamese stocks ended mixed today as investors sold shares on the primary bourse to minimize risks fearing selling pressure persists but bottom fishing boosted shares in the HNX in the last 15 minutes.

The UPCoM-Index, the measure of 130 unlisted public companies closed down on Thursday following the primary bourse HOSE. Liquidity decreased.
