BCI: Consolidated Net Profit Falls 70% in Q4/2011

The company generated net revenue of VND66 billion in the quarter, compared to VND370.5 billion a year back.

In 2011, the HOSE-listed firm posted VND85.4billion consolidated net profit on VND216.87 billion revenue, versus VND281.14 billion and VND797.3 billion in 2010, respectively.

2011 saw the great contribution of profit from associated companies worth VND36 billion, up VND8 billion from 2010.

However, the sluggish real estate market caused the firm’s low revenue, leading to its lower profit in the year.

The firm had total assets of VND4.3 trillion at the end of the quarter, against VND3.8 trillion at the beginning of the year.
