September 2026: Corporate Bond issuance remained resilient in September

Vietnam’s corporate bond issuance reached VND63,057bn in September 2026, declining 3.4% mom but rising 53.8% yoy, bringing 9M26 issuance to VND431,242bn (+4.6% yoy). Banks remained the largest issuers, accounting for 63.4% of the market (VND39,993bn), followed by real estate at 33% (VND20,800bn). The weighted average coupon increased to 9.8%, with banking and real estate bonds averaging 8.9% and 11.3%, respectively. Issuance continued to concentrate in shorter maturities, with bonds of three years or less representing 59.9% of total issuance.
