Company overview
KIS Vietnam Securities Corporation (KIS Vietnam) was established in December 2010 by Korea Investment & Securities Co., Ltd. (KIS), Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group and other shareholders. KIS Korea contributed 48.8% of the capital in KIS Vietnam in November 2010 and officially raised its ownership to 92.3% in January 2014. As of June 2021, KIS Vietnam increased its charter capital to VND 3,761 billion.
KIS Vietnam is strongly supported by KIS in Korea with experience in the financial field and the combination of experts from abroad and excellent staff with many years of experience in the banking, audit sector and domestic capital markets. KIS Vietnam focuses on developing executive management and risk management techniques to bring the company to the forefront of all financial sectors in Vietnam. In addition, we believe that human resources is the factor that creates the prestige and success of KIS Vietnam in the stock market.
History
September 17, 2007: Korea Investment & Securities Co. Ltd., (KIS) was granted a license by the SSC to set up a Representative Office in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
December 27, 2010: KIS Korea acquired shares of Gia Quyen Securities Joint Stock Company (EPS).
March 21, 2011: Gia Quyen Securities Joint Stock Company (EPS) officially changed its name to KIS Vietnam Securities Corporation (KIS Vietnam).
March 24, 2011: Renamed Hanoi Branch – Gia Quyen Securities Joint Stock Company (EPS) to Hanoi Branch – KIS Vietnam Securities Corporation (EPS).
June 1, 2015: Established Ba Trieu Transaction Office, Hanoi.
July 8, 2015: Established Nguyen Tri Phuong Transaction Office, TP. Ho Chi Minh.
January 9, 2015: KIS Vietnam increased its charter capital from VND 264 billion to VND 1,113 billion.
July 6, 2016: Established Lang Ha Transaction office, Hanoi.
September 6, 2016: Established Pham Ngoc Thach Transaction Office, TP. Ho Chi Minh.
2016: KIS VN was honored as one of Top 10 leading securities companies in terms of brokerage market share on HOSE and HNX.
June 11, 2018: KIS VN became a member of trading derivatives market.
May 14, 2018: KIS VN raised its charter capital from VND 1,113 billion to VND 1,897 billion.
KIS VN was in Top 10 leading securities companies in terms of brokerage market share on HOSE and HNX.
Increase charter capital to VND2,596 billion.
